There were a lot of rumors flying around yesterday, and this is NOT our house. It is the house directly next door. The fire started yesterday (10/9) around 3 PM.
Thank GOD none of the family was home and no firefighters were injured fighting the blaze. Everything inside is a complete loss. It was so hot that it did melt some of our siding and our house smells a little smoky, but that's it.
Oh yeah, and Daisy is OK. PJ's dad Dennis got her out of the back yard until PJ got home.

What started the fire? I am glad it was not your house and that your house was not affected much. The smell will go away soon.
I think they determined the cause as a little kid playing with a lighter.
Glad to see that things are ok at your house. I'm glad to hear that it was not PJ out back playing with the lighter and starting fires to ease his pain about the CUBS!!!!!!
